Mingjun Tian

Ming Tian is Vice President of Facilities, Maintenance and Master Plan Projects at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE). In this role, Ming oversees the facilities and maintenance operations across all 114 acres of Hastings Park managed by the PNE, including numerous new and historic buildings and venues, as well as overseeing all Master Plan projects including the iconic Amphitheatre redevelopment.
In addition to having both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ming also holds a Lean Management Certificate and is a certified professional engineer. He also maintains several relevant accreditations including Certified Facility Manager and Facility Management Professional through the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute, along with LEED AP BD+C credential from the U.S. Green Building Council. Ming is one of the nine global certification commissioners for IFMA. To recognize Ming’s contributions and achievements at a relatively young age, he was awarded top 40 under 40 in Canadian construction by On-Site and SitePartners in 2023 and UNDER 40 Recognition by Building Commissioning Association in 2025.

I am a Facilities Management professional with over four years of experience supporting building operations, maintenance coordination, energy management, and operational excellence in luxury apartment complexes Sri Lanka. I am particularly interested in energy efficiency, green building practices, utility management, and sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact while improving operational performance. I enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, solving complex operational challenges, and continuously learning about emerging technologies in the built environment. Grace Quandahor is the Founder and CEO of Topcare Building Maintenance Ltd., a commercial cleaning and facility services company serving clients across Metro Vancouver. She has extensive experience in facility operations, business development, contract management, and client relations, working closely with property managers, strata corporations, and commercial real estate organizations to deliver high-quality, reliable facility services.
Grace holds a master’s degree from the University of British Columbia and is passionate about building resilient businesses, forging strong industry partnerships, and creating meaningful employment opportunities for newcomers and underrepresented communities. She believes exceptional facility management is driven by collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Grace is eager to contribute to IFMA’s mission by bringing a practical service-provider perspective to the Board, supporting member engagement, encouraging professional development, and helping strengthen the facility management profession across British Columbia.

He currently serves as Managing Director at Equiscape Consulting, where he provides leadership in operational strategy, facility planning, project delivery, and organizational development, helping clients align their spaces and systems with long-term business, community, and sustainability goals.
Known for combining big-picture vision with practical execution, Immanuel has led the planning, design, construction, and optimization of more than 1 million square feet of new and renovated space, including retail locations, office environments, and multi-site projects across British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. His experience includes building and leading high-performing teams, developing operational frameworks and performance measures, managing complex capital and operating budgets, and advancing procurement, risk management, and business continuity programs that strengthen resilience and consistency across organizations.
Immanuel’s leadership approach is grounded in the belief that the built environment should be healthy, adaptable, and accessible for everyone who uses it. Throughout his career, he has championed sustainability, cultural safety, accessibility, and neuroinclusive design, supported by credentials including Facility Management Professional and Green Globe Professional, as well as experience contributing to LEED-aligned, WELL-aligned, and Rick Hansen-certified projects.
He is also widely recognized for his commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and for fostering workplace cultures centered on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. His leadership has been acknowledged by organizations including the City of Vancouver, BC Centre for Ability, and Simon Fraser University for contributions to access, inclusion, and diversity.
